My love of animals comes from my dad who raised me to appreciate them and treat them well. I’ve also always had pets which were essentially family to us. When photographing animals, I aim to foster a connection between them and the viewer. Whenever possible, I place emphasis on the eyes because I think that the eyes are the windows to the soul, especially when it comes to animals.
